  • Farmer Cheese Didn't Hurt/ How About Colby?

    Yayy!!!!!!!

Farmer cheese didn't bother me and I loved it. It seems to have less fat than cream cheese.

I'm still trying to figure out whether to avoid colby cheese.

Also, has anyone tried Kraft macaroni and cheese, and with what results?

There are a few cheeses not mentioned on the list and I was wondering if anyone on here eats colby cheese and/or Kraft macaroni and cheese. If so, how do you react?

    Thanks.

I can eat the Kraft Mac/Cheese, and I can also eat Colby cheese. In fact I can eat most any cheese and it usually doesn't bother me. Guess I'm lucky there.

I eat a lot of colby cheese-no problems. Also those mozzarella string cheese sticks don't bother me either.

          Where I Found Farmer Cheese

          Aprilmae,

We have a food chain here in Maryland called Giant Food. They carry it in their refrigerated section right near the butter and refrigerated cheeses.

I had to ask for it as I had no idea what the packaging looked like. It was small and difficult to find or see so I'm glad I asked the man working in the milk/cheese/egg section if they had any.

To me, it seems much better than cream cheese which has too much fat for someone like me with high cholesterol.

I hope you get to try some farmer cheese. I love it. It crumbles and doesn't spread like cream cheese. I ate it on some macaroni. I hope that doesn't sound too weird.

Farmers cheese is available in almost all Oregon grocery stores. It comes in a block like cheddar, but is white.

What I Use Farmer Cheese In

You can use it any way you like. It crumbles.

I happen to enjoy macaroni and/or spaghetti. After putting some butter in the above, I sprinkle on the cheese. I love it.

But, I suppose you can put it anywhere you want. It has a mild flavor, unlike parmesan.
