It just depends on what we're eating but most nights I can eat what they are, or like tonight, they had spaghetti w/ sauce and I saute up some mushrooms and put those on my spaghetti w/ some feta cheese so it doesn't really take any longer than the dinner I'm already making.

Thankyou so much! Whew, this all takes some getting used to. I am sooo lost, haha! I agree with the whole "kids" thing too. I have a 6 year old daughter, an 8 month old daughter and a PICKY husband. I have a feeling that the whole family is going to have to adjust, or I am going to be cooking different meals for everyone.

As long as it doesn't have anything bad in it like citric acid or something I don't see why it would matter if you had whole wheat or regular white pasta. I've never made whole wheat pasta though because the kids would freak out on me, lol

Hi! I am newly diagnosed with IC and I was wondering if whole wheat pasta is a bad choice, or should I stick to white pasta?
    Thanks, Leigh
