  • OK....Now pears are causing me pain! OUCH!

I've been in a flare for a little while now. So many things made it worse but this morning I felt like it was a "little" better. I am finally getting over my cold/flu although my body is still aching! Anway, I had a baked chicken breast for lunch on Italian bread and then had a ripe pear for lunch. Boy was it yummy! Less than and hour later the burning pain and swelling started. I'm having pressure and pain. Could it be that the pear is causing me pain? Maybe I have to eliminate fruit altogether for a while. Anyone else have problems with pears? Maybe I should just stick to a bit here and there.
    Boy is this frustrating.

My tendency would be to think it might be the Italian bread. Any way you can look at the contents of the bread?

I hope you feel better very soon.

I dont think it's the bread. I eat it all the time. I get it fresh from the bakery.
I think it might have been the pear. I can usually have a little bit (I share with hubby ) but I guess indulging in the entire thing when my bladder is still angry might have been too much to handle. I was just curious if anyone else has had problems with pears too.

Thanks Tabasco, I've decided to lay off a fruit for a few days and see if it gets better. I have a trade show in NY that I am really not up to but certainly don't want to make things worse with an angray bladder.
I noticed in your signature that you take seacure. Someone had recommended that to me but was afraid to take it because of IC and food intolerances.
            How does it help you?
