Unfortunately, the distilled does not seem to be okay. I tested its pH and it was 4.8. I was shocked!

I'm drinking Evian today and made my chamomile tea with it. We'll see. It's an experiment.

Distilled water should be okay. That pretty much leaves the gum. I hope you feel better today.

    started a topic Evian??

    Evian??

So, I bought some Evian this morning to see if the water I've been drinking is a culprit.

Since I had my flare from the hamburger and squash cooked on the grill, the pain hasn't gone away. The burning is still present. I was feeling pretty good all day yesterday while at work, but I got in the car to stop by the house before going to the salon, and I grabbed a glass of water and took my Elmiron.

The only thing I did different was pop a piece of peppermint chewing gum into my mouth.

By the time I got to the salon, I was so irritated. I just cannot get back to feeling good like I did almost immediately after starting Phase I of the diet.

Anyway, I bought the Evian this morning and the pH is listed as 7.2. That's good and alkaline, but why are there sulfates and nitrites in this water?
Don't those upset the bladder? Are they in all water?
I am actually used to drinking distilled, but I don't know the pH...could be acid.

    Help, please.
Working...
