The BEST natural sweenter which I found and use is Xylitol. Health food stores have it.
As I recall, the American Dental Assocation approves of Xylitol.
Yes, this is a wonderful discovery because it works in a very interesting manner on the plaque on our teeth and gums.
The plaque it seems, "eats" the Xylitol and the composition of the Xylitol makes the plaque "feel" full, even though it isn't. Therefore, the plaque doesn't continue working on your teeth and since it's only "eaten" empty calories, it starves to death.
I don't know if I explained that right, but it was explained like that by a dentist to me and that's about the best I can do, LOL. Maybe there will be more info online?
