I got an e-mail yesterday from a friend that has a cookbook for various restaurant recipes. It has a ton of interesting stuff in it. For me (and other ICers), I think it's most helpful to know ingredients that are in things.
The book came as an attached PDF file. If it's OK to post here, I will do that. It does include the cover with the copyright information and the author's name. However, in the meantime, if anyone has any questions about whether problem ingredients are in some premade and restaurant foods, I'd be glad to let you know.
For example, I realized why I do OK with Hidden Valley Ranch dressing. The only vinegar in it comes from a bit of mayo. And I found that regular Hellman's mayo has less vinegar than Miracle Whip (for those days when I want to take Prelief and treat myself!).
And if it's OK to go ahead and post, I will do so.
