  • breakfast energy bar?

im always at whole foods looking at the ingredients for the energy bars. i just cant find any that seem like they would be IC safe. Either too much vitamins or the ingredients are not what is recommended for us. By chance , has anyone came across one? thxs

Lara bars are my favorite. All they are all fruit, nuts, and spices. "Cashew cookie" is usually the safest one when you're just starting out on the diet, but now that I'm feeling better I can tolerate some of the other flavors like "Apple Pie," "Banana Cookie," and "Pecan Pie."

I was just going to suggest the Lara bars.

My dad also makes scones out of Bisquick, oatmeal, raisins & milk. They're very filling & make a nice breakfast with a cup of hot milk, low acid decaf coffee or herbal tea. I'll post the recipe tomorrow if people would like it
