    Water bottle filters

    Hi. I'm not sure where to put this, so I chose here and I hope someone sees it and replies....

    I've seen these little water bottles with filters in them and I was wondering if anyone knew about them. How do you chose which one to buy? They seem pretty expensive, so I don't want to just jump in and buy one blindly.

    What is it that we are filtering? (Chlorine, minerals, etc....) I'm not sure what to look for. I just know that some water hurts me and others don't. I want to get one of these for those times when I am traveling, or just out doing errands and can't find the right bottle of spring water that is safe for me to drink. (A local theme park only had Dasani water (ouch!) or pop to drink and I was out of luck.)

    I thought the IC shop had them, but they aren't there. Were they taken out, or am I imagining things?

      I drink only Aquafina Water.. I cant drink anything else or I burn really bad..

      Meds For IC: Lyrica-25mg Glucosamine-500 MSM-500mg, Prosed Ds -When Flaring

      Other Meds: Levlite- Continious Birtcontrol, Micardis-40mg for High Blood Pressure

      Meds I have Tried:
      Topamax,Tofranil, Elmiron, Atarax, Cymbalta, Elavil, Enablex, Detral La, Prydium.
      Lexapro< Bad reaction to this med!
      Intstills, could not continue them due to some kind of reaction after 3rd instill. Tasted the lidocaine in my mouth, tongue and lips went numb then went into what seemed like a panic attack. Shaking, racing heart, tingling face/head, blood pressure shot up..

      Dx With IC in Nov 2006 with Hydro/Cysto
      Hydro/Cysto Caused Bladder to Rupture.

      Other Dxs-Vulvodynia,Fibro, Endo, IBS, HPV, Migraines, Spastic Colon, Mild Dysplasia.

          I carry water with me when I go places. I even take a small bottle in my purse when we go to a restaurant and sneak it into a glass. At home I drink tap water, but we have a deep well so there are no chemicals. We have an ultraviolet filter in our pump house so we know the water is clean.

              I always carry water with me, too. I just want this for those times when I can't carry water. For example, on airplanes, concerts, ballgames, or festivals that don't allow outdoor drinks, etc...

              I am also going away for a week in June and would rather not have to pack several cases of water like I usually do if I can just take this bottle with the filter in it.

              I'm looking online. If I find it, I'll post it.
