I would suggest starting out though with everything on the usually ok side first. Once you have your pain under control then it would be ok to start experimenting with other foods, but one at a time, and give it a couple of days before you try something else to see if it bothers you. I know how hard it is and it will take some patience figuring it all out. Don't try too many things too soon, start off slowly. Good luck,

As far as the IC diet, I really think it depends on the person in how different foods are going to affect the bladder, and each person is different. I know that I absolutely cannot eat chocolate otherwise I will be in agony, yet there are some that can eat chocolate with no problems at all. I have a friend who has IC and she can drink orange juice and also she takes 2 vitamin C pills daily with no problems.
It is a trial and error thing. You will have to experiment when it comes to trying different foods in order to find out what is going to bother your bladder, this is the only way to know for sure what is safe for you to eat. Good Luck.

Okay there is a large list of what we can't eat, but what can we actually eat? What are some favorite foods that don't cause pain?
