Thanks for the recommendations! Maybe I will give onion a try if they are completely cooked! That is the only thing off the "usually ok list", so if I have a problem, I should know what is the problem.

Well, I don't know if I'm really food sensitive. I am trying to go as bland as possible to let my bladder calm down, but oatmeal or couscous with olive oil are getting old. A friend is putting together some meal ideas for me and showing me how to cook and asked about shallots because onions were a maybe. I do like onions cooked (I never eat them raw), so maybe I could try them at this point? My bladder isn't happy right now, so I'd hate to make it worse...
