Hi everyone! I am going to Los angeles to celebrate my 30th birthday and want to lose my "IC weight" before I go. However, I am having a hard time finding foods that are good for me, taste good, and will help me lose weight. any suggestions??
I would go with lots of salad and fresh vegetables. Steaming broccoli, carrots, and celery and eating it with brown rice and sauteed chicken is a healthy low -fat meal.
Frozen blueberries are a great dessert. no fat and full of antioxidants.
Cereal with skim milk is a good breakfast or snack.
Really I think you can eat what you want within reason. If you are trying to lose weight, adjust your portion sizes. Make sure you are eating something every 4 hours, so you don't become ravenous and eat everything in sight and don't totally deprive yourself of your favorite foods, just have smaller portions of them.
And another really important factor in the weight loss equation is exercise. Try to add more steps to your daily routine. Go for a walk- try out a pilates or yoga class.
