Has anyone tried this? It looks so tastey and has such great antioxidant properties.

I'd have to know if it's an acidic fruit before trying it.

I saw this as a flavoring in water a couple of months ago and meant to research it as I'd never heard of it before. I had completely forgotten about it until reading this post.
Add-in:
Yumberry has tannins, polyphenols, anthocyanins, gallic acid, quercetin hexoside, quercetin deoxyhexoside, quercetin, protocatechuic acid, cyanidin, myricetin, and ellagic acid. Myricanone, myricanol and its glycosides were isolated from the stem bark of Myrica rubra.Last edited by dg2901; 01-19-2011, 09:58 PM.(\__/)

Tried it
Unfortunately, the only one I could find had strawberries in it, so my trial didn't go so well. I got a slight upset stomach from it.
I haven't been able to find anything about whether or not this is an acidic fruit. The best I can find is "described as aromatic and succulent, with a sweet, yet agreeable sub-acid taste."Don't take my word, be your own health care advocate.
