MSG in restaurant meats like steaks and chicken send me into an IC flare that lasts for days. Also it is in some processed soups, Chinese foods, etc. Good old baking soda and water in the morning helps the best, with Ibuprofen during the day while I'm at work and sometimes the "orange" bladder pain pill if it's really bad. I have found for me that "Soy" in any form sends me into an IC flare also. Soybean oil is in ALOT of processed foods.
