    Good morning Emily~
    Here are a few more I have added to my Mom's list. I was doing a little research on anti-inflammatory foods, and one of the foods that cause inflamation are sugar, regular sugar, white flour, pasta, white potatoes. Anyway, if these things are eaten in abundance at one time rather that throughout the day, 5-6 small portions, the body doesn't have time to metabolize the large portions, turns to sugar, and can cause inflamation throughout. So yesterday I was looking for a healthier alternative without taking it all away, more of an option. She will still eat what she has been but more in moderation.

    (B)(Naturaly Prefered) Rotini & Penny pasta, Spaghetti & Angel Hair, 100% Semolina (pasta is white in color), Naturaly Prefered also makes all of these pastas in a 100% whole Wheat (O)
    (B)(Nabisco) Unsalted Tops, premium saltine crackers (R)
    (B)(Quaker) Quaker Grits, NOT instant (R)

    Wow that's great! Thank you so much! I just went shopping today and got a bunch of fresh vegetables that I'm excited to make meals with. I've been looking all over for cereal I can eat, so thank you so much telling me about kashi! i'm excited for graham crackers too!

    I'm happy to share, I try to spend a couple extra hours while shopping once a week, looking at lables for Mom. I'm sure I will have more that work for her and will be sure to post anything new that I find. Carolyn

    I can eat all kinds of meat and fish. I especially like shrimp and scallops. I also like nuts so keep some around for snacks and to add to salads. Cheese and crackers makes a good snack too.

    Pantry and Fridge stock

    Hi,

    I'm getting really tired of eating the same food, and having to cook all the time. I'm also still in pain most of the time (though there are a few days when I'm good) I've been on elmiron and the diet since Feb. 2011, but I'm still in pain so much. I can't tell if I'm eating something I shouldn't, if it's stress, just ovulation and period etc... (I'm kind of frustrated). I'm also only 23 and live with 4 other girls, so we share some food and I don't have a ton of room to keep mine. Can people please tell me what you keep your pantry and fridge stocked with most of the time so maybe I can have an easier time buying things and finding something to eat.

    Here's what I usually have...
    broccoli
    cauliflower
    carrots
    potatoes
    eggs
    milk
    flour
    butter
    sugar
    brown sugar
    triscuits
    brown rice
    vanilla extract
    peppermint extract
    whole wheat pasta
    puffed rice cereal (just puffed rice)
    corn chips
    spices (that are IC friendly)
    chicken

    I have some other things but those are the staples. I'd love to hear what other people have, so I can see what's generally safe for people and a variety to what I have.
