When I'm away from home I purchase bottled water. I just check labels and purchase spring water with no additives. It hasn't been a problem.

I've tried ozarka and walmart brand water and that doesn't work for me, either does my tap water. Evian seems to be the only thing that is working. I just bought crystal geyser and even tho the PH is low it doesn't show that anything has been added so maybe i will try drinking that tomorrow and see if it helps. If not then guess it's back to evianComment

Evian annoyed my bladder, which was actually a relief since it's so expensive. I drink Arrowhead and Crystal Geyser without any problem. I've had problems with Evian, Dasani & Kirkland brand waters. Not sure about Aquafina - I really like the taste, but am not sure it's ok.Kadi

Yea i'm drinking a bottle of crystal geyser right now, although it was a 5 or 6 on the ph scale it has nothing in it so i'm hoping that works so i don't have to buy evian all the time. Wouldn't be bad if it wasn't so expensive. Here hopes everything goes well and there continues to be minimal burning.Comment

The crystal geyser still makes it burn when i void so i guess i'll just stick to evian i hardly have any burning if at all when i drink that. Figures something so cheap wouldn't work for me lol my body only likes the expensive stuff :pComment

Does anyone know why this happens? I haven't found any one water to be better than the next. But I am curious as to the cause of the potential to flare someone? Isn't plain water the same? Is it like the pH levels or something?Comment

Yea apparently it does have to do with the PH level anything lower than a 7 which is what i have been drinking is acidic and 7 is neutral and anything above 7 is alkaline which is better for you. So right now im stuck with evian cuz i can't drink anything else apparently. Its sad cuz it costs so much money but it does make me feel better.Comment

Ahh. That is a shame that the most expensive water would be the best one for us. But then again I am begining to sense that theme with a lot of IC related products. What an expensive diagnosis.Comment

I do sometimes drink Evian when I feel I'm beginning a flare, but I can drink tap water on a daily basis.Lori
