  • Tomato-Free Pizza Recipes in Septembers's O Magazine

My mother in law is visiting and brought an O Magazine. They have recipes for five creative tomato sauce-free "breakfast pizza" recipes. Some of them are not IC-friendly, but they may spark some ideas. The recipes include:
    • Strawberry Jam and Goat Cheese Pizza (substitute acid-free blueberry or pear preserves for strawberry?)
    • Maple Blueberry and Bacon Pizza (this one looked really good - also topped with marscapone cheese)
    • Mushroom and Smoked Mozzarella Pizza (topped with scrambled egg - maybe try plain mozzerella with shi-take or similar woody mushroom for that rich flavor)
    • Bacon, Eggs and Cheddar (substitute mild cheddar or american)

I really want to try the maple blueberry and bacon one - I like breakfast for dinner!

(PS I know shi-take doesn't have a hyphen but the discussion board software seems to think I'm trying to say a dirty word! )
