I also find that the plain whole wheat bread (higher fibre bread) is IC friendly

Unfortunately, whole wheat is a problem for me. I make nearly all of our bread. I have a mixer with a dough hook so it's not hard to make bread.

The Great Harvest Bread Company bakse their bread fresh daily and they have quite a few breads that are whole grain. They are located all over the U.S.A. When you go there, they have several breads and cookies for you to sample. They gave me a piece of buttered Honey White bread to try and I was sold. Their bread has NO PRESERVATIVES and it is soooooooooooo delicious. The ingredients in Honey White bread are: Unbleached unenriched wheat flour, water, honey, yeast, salt, and eggs.

Also Ezekiel bread is supposed to be one of the healthiest commercial breads on the market. Their Food for Life bread is made up from six different organic sprouted grains and absolutely no flour and no preservatives! This combo of sprouted grains contains all 9 essential amino acids, which makes up a complete protein. They also make sesame seed bread, whole grain tortillas, corn tortillas, and English muffins. It's available in most health food stores (i.e., Trader Joe's and Whole Foods Market) and some conventional stores in the freezer section.
