My family loves ham for both Christmas and Easter. I, of course, will be going to the bathroom frequently when ham is served. So, it is only two days out of the year and yet I rather not irritate my bladder. I have a few options but then they become less cost effective. I think they have turkey breast or chicken thighs that I could bake for myself but I would kidding myself if I said I didn't thoroughly enjoy not cooking the whole meal. I supply the meat and bring a side dish as a rule.

So what about asking if a roast chicken could be made with uncured bacon or something similar? Also, my roasted brussels and onions were a surprising hit. I made creamed cauliflower for Christmas and the comment was horseradish would be good in this recipe. So much for trying something new. I will stick with roasted brussels and onions for all the holidays.
