    Congee

    9 cups of water
    1 cup of brown rice
    1-2 eggs
    Any kind of meat with bones
    Rosemary
    Fennel seeds
    Coriander
    Basil


    Put rice, meat, and water in pot and cook on low to medium low fire. Add seasoning to taste, I put in a tablespoon each but I think I over-spiced it though it came out good anyway. Add egg. Cook for a very long time. 2-3 hours, rice needs to be really soft and come apart easily like a porridge. White rice probably won't take as long to cook.
