Hello!
I'm recently diagnosed with IC so I've been acclimating myself to the diet and reading constantly. I think I've passed the 'overwhelmed" phase and have for the moment, moved into "slight acceptance" phase. I'm sure I will be in the acceptance phase soon. HOWEVER, moving onto my question:
Do you think making Puppychow, with white chocolate chips, instead of the real live, glorious, perfect, mouthwatering, choirs of angels singing chocolate chips would be okay?
I was thinking in bed last night that it should work. Are you familiar with the recipe? Instead of melting the peanut butter(I tolerate peanuts and peanut butter) and the succulent aforementioned chocolate chips, I'd melt the white (not really chocolate if you ask me) chips, with the pb, stir, throw in the Chex, then toss with the powdered sugar. I mean it actually sounds good.
I'm trying to 'fine tune' my new diet, intermingling family favorites. We are all such creatures of habit, that even with a slight change to a recipe, I think this would still feel like the real thing?
Thank you for any input.
