  • Figs anyone?

In my freezer I have some frozen "figs" from the summer. I thawed and cooked them on the stove top adding sugar to taste. They are yummy and I have not had any IC "flares" from them. You can eat them like you would applesauce.

I may have to try that. I bought a bag of figs and tried to eat them a month or two ago. But they were just too.. I don't know lol Maybe if I cook them with sugar they'll taste better.

I havent' heard anyone struggling with figs although, ironically, if I eat a lot of them, my lower bowel vibrates. I know that's weird, but it's true for me.

            Fresh figs are scrumptious

Our supermarket sells fresh figs from time to time. I buy them whenever I see them. I eat them just the way they are. They are a little pricey here, but they are worth it.
