I buy Simply Organic brand of chicken broth. The main ingredient you want to stay away from in regular grocery store kind is the MSG. I buy mine at a health food store. You can make you own so easily as well. I cook a whole chicken in a crock pot with carrots, celery, onion(if you can tolerate or else use scallions) and whatever spices you like and/or tolerate. Cover with water and cook on low for 6-8 hours. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have further questions.

Yes, that recipe does sound good but I'd like to ask the same question...how do you find store bought, IC friendly chicken broth? Even the low sodium variety has too much sodium. I've been making my own because besides the sodium, the store bought is usually made onion juice.

That sounds yummy! How do you find IC friendly chicken soup stock? Do you have a specific brand you use or certain ingredients to stay away from?
    Thanks for your help!
