Prelief is AkPharma's brand name for calcium glycerophosphate, an over-the-counter supplement made from an FDA Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) mineral.
There is no evidence to indicate that Prelief is other than safe, but if you are pregnant or lactating, you are always on warning for anything you eat or drink, and we recommend that you check with your doctor.
thank you for your reply, but I live outside the US and I can only get Prelief from the UK or the USA and Prelief is unknown here.
I can understand that you can make any guarantee but it would be interesting to know whether some other women have used Prelief while pregnant, as it does help preventing IC symptoms.
