  • Prelief and Acetametaphen

I've heard that anything with acetametaphen in it can cause IC flares, because of acid. Could prelief help, if taken with the drug? If so, how many tablets should I take?

    Hi Fraidycat:

We suggest taking two Prelief tablets with Aspirin
(Acetyl Salicylic Acid) and Advil-Motrin (Ibuprofen). Tylenol contains Acetominophen; we are not sure if it is acidic, but you can try taking two Prelief and see if it helps.

      Fraidycat,
I have always taken tylenol with no problem, and I am extremely sensitive to foods, etc.
