  • Anyone find this not to work?

I started taking Prelief before I would eat anything acidic. Then someone suggested I keep taking it everyday throughout the day, so I currently do that now. But I have not seen any difference. I took 2 pills right before I had a coffee drink and I was still in a flare all day.

Guess this doesn't work for everyone???

Prelief doesn't give us freedom to eat and drink everything we want, but I have found that if I use Prelief I can have my one cup of coffee in the morning. I either take 4 Prelief with the first swallow or use the granules directly in the coffee. I don't take it routinely unless I want something like low acid orange juice --- then I take some with that first swallow.

        Dear Sara C

Sorry for the delay in responding, but I have just returned from vacation and read the new postings.

Prelief is a dietary supplement (calcium glycerophosphate) that takes the acid out of food. Prelief works on the food; it is not a drug. Our recommended dosage is 2 tablets with each meal, snack and beverage. Because tolerance to food varies greatly as does the acid content of food you may find that you need to use more tablets than the recommended amount.

I cannot explain the problem you seem to be experiencing with Prelief, but if you will call me direct at 1-800-994-4711, I may be able to offer some suggestions.

We hear everyday from IC patients (by mail and e-mail and over the telephone)who are using Prelief successfully and who advise us of the difference Prelief has made in their lives!

Just last week we attended the American Urological Assn Annual Meeting in Orlando. The urologists are regularly recommending Prelief for their IC patients and they are getting positive feedback from them as well.

Additionally we have just completed a study that confirmed the efficacy of Prelief in subjects with Overactive Bladder (urinary frequency, urgency, and/or incontinence).

Prelief is safe and effective; however no one product is guaranteed 100% for everyone, all the time, especially IC patients.

I would be happy to answer any questions or provide additional Prelief information if you want to call me direct on our toll-free number or e-mail me at [email protected]
