  • Lower Back Pain after Bladder Instillation?

I am on my third week of Bladder Instillations
This is the second week in a row that I have a had severe lower back pain following the instillation. Last week was immediately - like with in an hour - this week it was later about 7 hours but both cases were severe enough to warrant the use of a heating pad which I never needed before in my life. I have minimal back issues even when it really does hurt. This morning I feel great but barely got any sleep last night.

    Coincidence or related?

I have one more to go next week but next week I leave for vacation two days after the instillation and am worried.

Do I think they are helping - maybe - but I am worried about next week.

Is there a possibility you could move the appointment up a day or two so you have a little more time before vacation? Or when you go in for the treatment, ask for a few pain pills for use if you flare while you're on vacation.

    Stay safe
