I had my first of a series of 6 of bladder instills done today - I have to say it was much better than anticipated! It was 20 min start to finish, my nurse was phenomenal, and I am currently feeling better than when I went in this morning (had been flaring up for 24 hrs prior to). The only "irritation" is VERY minimal around the urethra from the cath, but it is totally manageable, as of now, hopefully it stays that way.
I'm doing Heparin/Lidocaine/Sodium Bicarb cocktail, and looking forward to the rest of them. I figure at this point in my game, I'm not losing anything to try this treatment, so why not?
