I am having RIMSO and the cocktail, and my second treatment Friday was extremely painful. I am hoping this isn't a sign that I shouldn't be doing this. Has anyone else had this type of experience? And did you finally get any relief?
hi Hi Cath...I had the same thing happen to me. The first treatment wasn't so bad, but the second one left me crying all the way home. Please keep going. I completed my round of 6 treatments, and do feel ingnificantly better. Will be praying for you. Try to consciously relax during the instill, and that might help. Wishing you well. grouphug Sheri
Wishing you the best, today, tomorrow, and always! Sheri G
The same thing happened to me, twice. Three years ago, I did very well after the first one and poorly after the second and third, then stopped. I had pain and spasms. When they went away after a month, I felt very good for 5 months.
I am trying DMSO again. I had a treatment two weeks ago and did very well, and felt great for a week and a half. I had my second one yesterday and now feel horrible. It feels like pain, terrible pressure, like the nerves at the top of the urethra where it enters the bladder are so irritated, I am so depressed right now. I don't know what to say. I'm taking Vicodin, pyridium, oxybutinin and not getting relief. It's a tough call whether or not to keep going. I just try to remember that this happened 3 years ago and then I had 5 great months when my bladder finally settled down.
I hope that helps you know you aren't the only one this happens to! Good luck.
