  • Acupuncture for IC?

    Hi!
I am new to this. I had a UTI in October that I thought never went away but my cultures came back negative so I was diagnosed with IC. Then shortly after I had another UTI, I was hoping this was the end of it! Sure enough, I felt better for a couple months. And now, here I am again! So I guess this is a flare!
It come around my period or after intimacy with my husband. It increases urgency and frequency and urethra burning.
I want to try acupuncture but it’s costly! Has anyone had positive experiences with acupuncture for this?

First of all, I'd like to say :welcome: to the IC Network.

Have you tried an IC diet? If not, I suggest you give that a try as a first option --- you'll find diet information on this site. There are some who are helped by acupuncture, but you might want to try other alternatives first.

    Sending healing thoughts,
    Donna

Have you checked the ICN Shop?
Click on ICN Shop at the top of this page. You'll find Bladder Builder and Bladder Rest, both of which we are finding have excellent results.
