        Spirulina

Spirulina is pretty well know among alternative medicine specialists and some books that explain the different types of green foods and how they are used are: Healing with Whole Foods by Paul Pitchford, Viral Immunity by J. E. Williams, MD, and the standard Nutritional Healing by Phyllis Balch which is standard in most health food stores.
I would suggest you read up on them and make up your mind from there. I have taken both Spirulina and Chlorella and felt they were soothing and alkalizing.

Spirulina is very healthy and an excellent source of the food we don't get in our "food".
