... Ben & Jerry's "Cookie Jar" sundae... It's amazing and it makes all pains go away... I can't speak for the IC pain because I didn't have any today, but it sure made my fibromyalgia pain go away

LOL, no, the BEST pain treatment is a fresh vanilla milkshake. It's IC friendly, too! My husband makes them for me sometimes when I'm feeling really down, and they work like a charm, so they may have anti-depressant qualities as well.
We're just kidding around on this thread, but truthfully, sometimes just taking the time to indulge yourself in some way -- a food treat, a hot bath, aroma therapy, whatever works for you -- sometimes that can lower your stress levels a lot and I honestly think that does help with pain relief. A lot of us are so busy trying to keep going through the pain, with work or kids or whatever, and we should try to take time to slow down and give ourselves permission to be self-indulgent once in a while.
Peace, Carolyn
