I used Bach Rescue this past PMS and I was fine, I ussually cry no matter what before my period. This time I didn't. The only thing is that I noticed it gave me some heartburn when I used under the tongue and on an empty stomach so next time I will make eat something before. It didn't flare my bladder which it great!
I'm interested in getting other flower extracts for specific things, like fear, worry etc.

Irritatedby IC: I've heard about Reiki. How cool that you are a Reiki master.
I practice Kundalini Yoga, just started a few months ago, that's when I learned about Bach Flowers.
My only concern about Bach flowers is that it has alcohol and I don't know if it interferes with medication, like darvocet, or Elavil ...(?)
Yes it does! It's great! Yeah, even I was skeptical at first.

That's wonderful news! Yeah, it can give you a little heartburn, sometimes taking it with water also helps and yes, definitely use it with food if your stomach is more sensitive. No it wouldn't flare you up. Bach does help with fear, worry, etc, but you're right there are more specific flower extracts out there for those things.

I'm so glad you've heard of it. You should try it, if you haven't yet. If you loved Bach "Rescue Remedy" you'll *love* Reiki. Thank you. I worked hard. That's great kind of Yoga! I believe the alcohol is *very* little. I could call the company and ask though. I'll let you know.

    Take very good care!

    Hi,

I'm a Reiki Master and I use Bach "Rescue Remedy" flower essences in my practice. It's a wonderful product! It's *so* calming. Try it out for yourself. Put a few drops in a small glass of water (or on/under your tongue) and see for yourself.

Hmm... now my curiosity is up.
Can you find them at most health food stores? I haven't looked to see if any of the stores in my area carry them, but when I go in again, I will check and see.

Yes I did some reasearch in wikipedia and in the Bach flower site. I haven't tried them yet. I found the concept to be interesting but I wanted to hear about people's opinion on them who has tried them. I'm surprised I haven't heard anyone here who has tried them yet....

I have a book that has a chapter on the Bach Flower Remedies, but I haven't sat down and done any in depth reading about it. Have you tried searching online? I know there is a website, but I haven't checked it out yet.

    started a topic Bach Flowers

    Bach Flowers

Has anyone heard or tried Bach Flowers?
They are flower extracts that come in little bottles and you are suppose to use only a few drops. They help with feeling of hopelesness, fear, etc.
2 friends mentioned me, one at yoga and anotehr her therapist suggested her to try them. They don't have IC so I don't know if 2 drops of flower extract wiull affect the bladder. I follow the IC diet not extricly but closely.

I'd love to know more about Bach Flowers...
Working...
