  • looking for something to help with the stress from IC and life in general?

    i found this excellent body wash before i got sick with ic and now im relying on it more than ever.males or females can use it. it has lavender and chamomile in it so it is very relaxing to use in the shower or bath and gentle for the skin. a lot of people compare it to feeling like a warm bath if you use it in the shower.it is called melt away stress by j&j (the same people who make all the baby products) and is fairly inexpensive at cvs or walgreens it was 5 bucks for a big bottle that will last you awhile. there was a sale goin on at cvs 2/10 at the time i got it so i also got the lotion which is non-greasy and relaxing to apply.i am not advertising for them or affiliated with them. this is just a product i tried that i really like and would like to pass it on to others.

    Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
    where there is hatred, let me sow love;
    when there is injury, pardon;
    where there is doubt, faith;
    where there is despair, hope;
    where there is darkness, light;
    and where there is sadness, joy.
    Grant that I may not so much seek
    to be consoled as to console;
    to be understood, as to understand,
    to be loved as to love;
    for it is in giving that we receive,
    it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
    and it is in dying [to ourselves] that we are born to eternal life.
