  • LDN (low dose Naltrexone)

Has anyone here tried LDN (low dose Naltrexone)? I noticed Dr. Hanno at Stanford and others are doing a clinical trial to see how it works on IC. I was curious to hear of any one's experience.

I was just prescribed this drug last week by my urologist. Been on it for a few days, to early to tell on its effects, but I hope it will make an impact.

How awesome your urologist was willing to prescribe this! Do you see one of the university urologists? I wish more doctors were educated and open minded on trying things like LDN. Especially when you have places like Stanford who have done studies and some of their pain specialists will try this for patients. Please keep us posted on how you do wit it!

Hi - I'm about to try this medication starting on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. I will try to report back if it works. Thx and good luck

Please be sure to share results of trying this. It's interesting when a medication that's been used for one problem ends up helping with something totally unrelated. It will be interesting to learn about this one.

My primary care prescribed it for me at my request. I haven't gotten it filled yet, so nothing to report.
