At what point did you decide to have this done? How does it work? I have never heard of this. -
What pain pump model did you have implanted? Are you going to use Prialt? I am considering having a pain pump implanted but I want to know how well it works.Leave a comment:

Treatment for I C (Implanted pain pump)
Hello, I finally had my second pain pump surgery on May 23rd, all went well I am waiting to get my staples out. It is just a small incision I have 13 staples in my abdomen and 12 on my spine. I feel fine, I am still on the patches and oral pain meds until they get the pump adjusted to where I will only need break thru oral meds to control the pain. My other pump worked for 6 years, I know this one will be my last. I am getting up in years and sure hope this pump takes care of the pain as well as my first one. Thanks for all your cares and concerns. Take care and if anyone out there wants to ask me questions, feel free to do so.
