I just started taking it last night for nocturia. Anyone have any experience with it? I didn't notice a difference last night but I guess it could take some time for me to notice a change.

I had never heard of this so I looked it up. Did the doctor give you this specifically for nocturia? It looks like it's used for surgical procedures to basically "dry" you up so that there aren't so many excessive secretions. It's also ordered for diabetes patients. I know so many meds are ordered for off label use and I'm thinking that's why he gave you that med. I hope it works for you.*IC-- Summer 2004; PFD--October 2005

04/17/09 Crohn's disease almost killed me with a combo of extreme constipation from pain medications. My bowel ruptured, I almost died from peritonitis and spent several days in the ICU then more in a private room on the floor. If you have any questions about severe constipation from pain meds please don't hesitate to send me a message. -
Yes, he gave it to me for nocturia since I have my other symptoms under control with diet and Cystoprotek. Now all I need is a good night's sleep once in a while! It's not supposed to have any side effects and Missy is right it's prescribed for kids who wet the bed. I'm trying it again tonight so we'll see what happens!Comment
