Birth Control?

Hello,

I see my gyn. tomorrow, and I'm considering asking for a switch in my pills, perhaps to a continuous variety.

I'm currently taking the generic form of Yasmin. My primary problem is frequency and occasional urethral discomfort. I've tried to pin down whether these frequency flares are hormonally related with little success. They occur at various times throughout the day, more rarely at night, and seemingly random times throughout the month.

But...I'm definitely willing to try a switch if there is a possibility that hormones are involved.

Anyone had success with switching from Yasmin to another birth control?

YES! I had to switch from Yasmin recently, it was the color of the pill! Yellow. I can't do colors at all. Yellow flare my bladder incredibly. I have noticed a huge improvement since I switched to Lo Ovral (all white) much less bladder pain. Still working on the PFD though, but one thing at a time. make the switch!

Thanks, Judy. She seemed skeptical that BC could be attributing to my problems, but still it couldn't hurt to try.
