Stem Cells?????

While searching this website for support group in my area, I came across a Dr who has had success with Stem Cells for IC. I have never heard of such a thing? I read all the info with the link you provided and it seems very interesting! Ive been perm disabled with IC since 2004 & always lookin for new treatment. So, Im curious if anybody out there can tell me anything more about it & if they are doing it? Thank you

The California Stem Cell Research Center are using stem cells for IC patients. I found the link here on the ICN. The study seems promising. I made an appointment but postponed it to save up some money and Im TTC right now. but I will keep this as an open option in the future. They use adult stem cells from your own stomach fat.

I think this is one of the most exciting things to come up. I really believe the stem cell therapy could be a real break through for treatment.
