Going to try Interstim done w/ pain

I was referred to a Dr. Chalfin in Los Alamitos Ca. who is a well versed man on IC. He has been working with IC patients for 25 years and pioneered the Interstim. He has been implanting them since 97. Anyhow he thinks I am a really good candidiate, the burning, urgency, frequency, pain, not sleeping, not living could be a memory. I feel like I have nothing to lose and everything to gain. I have done everything else and really have no other alternatives. The worst that can happen is it will not work and they take it out. He is not promising miracles, he just feels positive it will help. Will let you know in two weeks. Carlye Kirby
