Hello,
I was wondering if anyone else has tried spinal cord stimulation? It is similar to the interstim, but it is something for pain (not urgency and frequency). The leads are placed on your spinal cord and there is an implant that you can adjust the frequencies of. You get to do a one week trial in order to determine if it helps or not, but I have heard it can help with pelvic pain. I start seeing a pain management specialist next month, and may consider it. I am sick of being dependent on medications, and physical therapy does help. I just want something to help me get my life back.
Here is a website about it: http://www.controlyourpain.com/
I just have not heard much about the interstim being beneficial for pain. I am happy I have options at least. Thanks for any input.
Erin
