Hi Everybody, I had my surgery a year ago April 10th. I had several adjustments but found that where I was set, right after surgery, seems to be the best setting for me. I do the best when my unit is turned up to about 4.0 even though I have butt, leg and foot stimulation. When it gets to annoying I shut the unit off for three to four days and during that time I do very well. I usually do the best turned on for two weeks and then turned off for three or four days to let things rest. I am still doing DMSO and Heperin instillations weekly. I am able to travel again and even took a two week vacation to the west coast in January. I'm also planning an Easter trip. I couldn't have done that a year ago before I had the surgery. My Medtronics Rep. and Doctor agree that with thier help everybody has to experiment a little and figure out what works best for them. Thank you Debbie, Teri and Ruth for your love and support to help me through the last year. It's not perfect but I'm a lot better than I was last year. Good Luck Everybody and be patient. You will eventually figure it out. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Carolyn B

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow".
