• speaking tonite at a seminar

I will be speaking tonight at Burlington Urological about my story of IC, incontinence, and the interstim and what it has done for me, and the procedures. I was asked to speak by my uro. I am hoping that by my speaking, it will help others to know about IC. Also, if it just helps one person with IC or just one person with incontinence or (if they happen to have both like I did) it will be worth it.

Hope that all are feeling great and I am keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers, and also praying that one day they find the cure for IC for all of us.

    Thanks for all of the support that you all give everyday. <img src="graemlins/kissing.gif" border="0" alt="[kissing]" /> <img src="graemlins/grouphug.gif" border="0" alt="[grouphug]" />

the seminar at burlington uro. was wonderful. there were quite a few people there who have ic. and a lot of people there who did not know what ic is and now know. I wish more places would have seminars like this to let people know about ic and the treatments options out there. thanks for listening.

Hey JD! That is so excellent! How exciting that your uro asked! Thank you, from IC patient to another, for saying yes and spreading the word. I'm sure the other IC patients who attended were grateful to hear some positive information. I hope you directed them to the ICN too! We'd love to chat with more folks out there!

Hope you're feeling great tonight too!

        That was wonderful of you!

I did two newspaper artcles a few months back and it made me feel good to hopefully hope someone else, especially after I was someone who lived with an undiagnosed bladder condition until I read about IC in a mainstream magazine.
