    Hi gang
Just an update since my surgery on Friday. I am doing better....much easier the second time around. Still sore but improving every day and not taking pain meds anymore just Tylenol and its only been 6 days! (for those who don't know me....I had implant done in August and got good results for two weeks then it stopped - they redid the electrodes on January 12th). I had the unit turned on in the hospital at a really low frequency...more for my peace of mind than anything else. I will go in for an adjustment in a week or so...when I feel up to it and then I will see what happens. They really took their time with the surgery and testing (4.5 hours) so I have a good feeling about this.

PS Can whoever had the implant done and had only one incision let me know who the doctor was....and more details. My Medtronic rep was so curious.

    Dede,
I was wondering when we would here from you. So glad you are doing okay. I sure will keep my fingers crossed that this time you will get terrific results. In the meantime take it easy and try to be patient. Sending healing thoughts your way. Ruth

          Dede-

Glad things went well. I am the one who had one incision. My doctor is Shlomo Raz at UCLA in Los Angeles. He is very well known so perhaps your doctor has heard of him. The incision is about 4 inches long. 2 inches are between the butt cheeks and the other 2 are a continuation of the crack betwee the cheeks.

Please let me know if you'd like any more info to give to your doctor.

          Hope you're feeling well!

          Dana

Somewhere there's a reason /Why things go like they do /Somewhere there's a reason /Why some things just fall through /We don't always see them /For what they really are /But I know there's a reason /Just can't see it from this far /Maybe I don't like it, /But I have no choice /I know that somewhere, /Someone hears my voice / I thought I knew it all /I thought I had it made /How could it end this way? /I thought I knew Somewhere there's a reason /Why things don't go my way /Somewhere there's a reason /That I cannot explain /Just like the change of season, /Just may not be my turn /But I know there's a reason, /The lesson's mine to learn
