  • Just keeping you posted

As most of you know, the InterStim has been a very successful treatment for me in the last few months. These past couple weeks, some of my symptoms have been returning more and I am going in for a tune-up on Monday. I am not expecting nay problems.

{{{{{Amanda}}}}} I'm having my re-do staged trial on the 11th. Can you tell me what symptoms are returning? I'm doubting weather or not I want to go thru this again

    thanks~

        Hi Amanda,

Glad to hear you've been doing well. I'm sorry about the recent return of some of your symptoms, but still it must be such an improvement on what you were used to before! I've been meaning to e-mail you, will get to it soon. I'm very behind. In the meantime, hope the tune-up goes well.
        Are you back in school?

          Amanda,
I had a return of symptoms too. Burning, urgency, frequency. Turns out I have a nasty uti. I t also turns out I have some intestinal probs as well I didn't know about. It is either irritable or inflammatory bowel. I will have a colonoscopy on the 15th. Doc thinks perhaps these conditions are related and one can cause another to flare. Don't know. All I know is the intense urethral burning must go away!!! The fun just keeps coming!!!

            Teri,

My main symptom was a severe, painful urge to go to the bathroom--- it was starting to return, though not as bad as before the surgery. I went in and had an adjustment yesterday and I am feeling a little better---though it can take up to three weeks for the body to adjust to the adjustment.

I think it would be worth another try--- good luck.

            Amanda
PS--- I am sorry I did not get back to you earlier; I am having computer problems--- I am on my brother's.
