Have apt with my doctor tommorrow about my interstim

I'm hoping for some answeres about my interstim from my doctor tommorrow. I'm realing to try one more time to see if he can get it to work. My simptons are coming back and going to the bathroom more often now. I'm hoping he will give me some answer. I will let you all know what happens!! [img]confused.gif[/img]

Thanks everyboday for your concern. I went yesteray to see the doctor. I had to wait for over an hour is his office. He come in and said that the other doctor suggested to have it taken out because it is not working. Then I asked him if he could trying doing again. He said that he would if I would not talk with medtronic, the rep and calling his office. He said that he was getting letters from Medtronic and the FDA. I asked him why it was working like it use to a couple months ago. He said that it never worked from day one. I said he was working 50%. I do not know what his problems is with me and I felt like he did not care what happens with me. What do you all think about this??? <img src="graemlins/banghead.gif" border="0" alt="[banghead]" />

You should have a second opinion. If you really want to give it one more chance and are willing tohave it revised, search for another doctor well trained in the therapy.

I emailed you back....I have been really sick and my legs are not working well....saw the neurosurgeon yesterday that took my interstim out and he is going to do an MRI now to see where we go from here as my legs are only getting worse. I am so sorry once again like I told you that you can't get help.
This doc has been an interesting one for sure and he probably knows Medtronic,reps and all will try to make you keep that sucker in if they are contacted.....they did me and others as they do not care if you can't ever walk again or live in horrible pain.....this doc if I remember right told you he would take it out......get it out before it is too late for you. Those of us with the damage will tell you it is not worth it at all. I am getting worse with mine out even in being able to walk and that is not good....if I can no longer walk some day soon then the sh........t will really hit the fan as enough is enough with Medtronic and their refusal to help and encouraging these docs to be quiet on any of us with problems.......I may not be walking soon and that is not appreciated or going over well with me at all.....that is why I have not been on here as I have been dealing with this too now......I had so hoped removal would take care of that,but it was far too late the damage was done.
You have hung in there more than anyone else I have talked to and gone to all kinds of doctors and sought help and tried your best. They all failed you and you did not fail yourself. Please take care of yourself and hope to hear from you soon.

I've decided to talk with a doctor in Flordia when we go the first of Dec. I'm goingto the doctor that I saw last last winter. My sister and I talked about just get the device out. I'm hoping the doctor in Flordia will take it out for me. I do not want to back to the doctor in Akron. I just do not like to be told who I can talk to. I have not talk with Medtronic since I saw the doctor this week. Do you all think I should call medtronic??? I told patient services that I would call to let them know what the doctor told me. I'm still really angry at the doctor telling me that the iterstim had not woked for me from day one. It did work 50% until the last three months.
