stimulation at the generator site

I have been feeling stimulation at my generator site. Has this happened to anyone else? What causes it? Is it dangerous? I have had two different instances where it felt like I was kicked by someone in the generator site.I am still very sore and I want to avoid this happening again. Please help!

Lissad I've had sensation behind my IPG site to and at the time at asked my doctor about it. And he told me that some people have this and they did not no why. E-mail me at [email protected] and write back to you.

That is not right. That is the way that I felt when my interstim had went haywire, and was stimulating at the factory state. I would definatly talk to your doc and your rep about this. You need to have your rep try and change the setting, that might help.

That is definately not OK......mine did the exact same thing and did so from day one. Mine even would reprogram itself. If all is well you should not have any stimulation at the generator site. Please check into this even further. I talked to a lady just the other day that had just had hers out for about the same reasons as Jazzy and me did. Hers was getting fluid in it and she was told that was why she was getting shocked there. That is definately not OK. Insist on answers to any and all of your questions concerning this.
