• I have made a decision

I have gotten a lot of feedback on all of your experiences, and it has helped me make a decision. I have decided that I am going to go ahead and go forward with the Interstim trials. I will decide on the perminent one after the trials. After all, they can't do the surgery without my consent right. I have heard of some of the negative experiences with this gadget and they are scary. I guess I am desperate enouph to try anything. Thanks guys for your help. Johnna

I wish you all of the best with the trial! I have had my implant since August 2000. It has helped. Just like medications I have tried there were some trade off's (side effects) like a sore back etc. My bladder enlarged its capacity from 50 ml to 120 mls. Not that large I guess but I am glad it gave me some improvement. It has made my life easier.
Best wishes and keep us posted. We can answer any questions you might have about the procedure.

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow".
