Hey everyone I am new here and I have had the implant twice the first time my Dr took it out. The second time I have had it in for a year and nothing but pain. I have told my Dr about it and the nurses said its normal to have smoke discomfort but it still is bad. I have an appointment on the 4th to see him. He referred me to a pain management Dr. That won't help me she prescribes me medicine I can not afford and I pass the drug tests with no problem and I don't know how to bring it up to him with out it should like I am Dr shopping ! Or that I want it taken out because it hasn't helped just causes more pain and I have been having a bunch of flare ups an nothing helps with the pain any advice.

Re: Need advice
If your doctor is prescribing a medication that is expensive, it's okay to say that you don't have the money --- they may even have samples to give to you.
