Gonna have to agree here. I felt mine right away, in fact when I woke up from surgery for the first time in years did not have that "gotta go" feeling. Also if you are not getting good results with the trial, the perm. implant will not work either. Please do not let the doctor talk you into going ahead with the perm. implantation, because you still will not have any results.

When I got mine, and others I have talked to have had results right away. The external box is the same as the ipg generator they will implant. If you are not having any success with it, it would not make any since for you to have the implant.

It can definitely take a while to see a difference. I saw one on the very first day, but many others said it took a week or more. However, if you've changed your settings a number of times just with the trial, and you still haven't seen much improvement, it's possible this therapy is not for you. Do not let your doctor talk you into having the permanent implant if you do not feel things are going well with the trial, because your results with the permanent implant will be very much like what you are feeling now with the trial generator.

    Confused about Stage I interstim?

I had the stage I interstim implant on March 21st. Do you always get good results right away or can it take awhile? I have noticed a slight improvement, but nothing that is lifechanging. They have chaged the setting a few times. They said my nerves are very sensitive and inflamed. I need to make a decision about stage II. Does stage II sometimes work better than stage I. I also feel that I could be having a flare up at this time. I feel that I am emptying my bladder better, but I still have the feeling of urgency very often. I would appreciate any information.
