  • Urgent question

I am 5 days into my Stim trial. I am 42 and otherwise healthy. I take a very low dose of Atenenol (beta blocker) for a slight heart arythmia, we believe a result of stress. When I turn my stim up I am having noticable funky heart rythmns. Does anyone else have that?

    Thanks!

I would call your doctor right away an alert him/her to this situation and see what he/she says. Also contact the doctor who did your stim implant and tell him/her what is going on. I hope you feel better soon.

My Dr. told me to turn the unit off for the rest of the day and try an extra beta blocker. Actually she said I could leave it off since it hasn't worked with any of the changes we've made. At first it stopped my urethral spasms and SI pain, but those have both returned :-(

Instead of taking this out or putting in a permanent on June 4th, she suggested I have Stage 1 repeated on the opposite side. I'm going to try it since I've gone this far I might as well try every chance available.

I really REALLY want this to be my answer.

I appreciate all the input from others. Thank you!

It did not go away with turning the unit off. It did go away with increasing my beta blocker.

                          Hi Tracey,
if you do not get any relief, don't have the perm put in. I am sorry you are not having any success with it.

Deb, in post 6 her doc told her to up the beta blocker, just wanted to lt you know so you don't worry.
